HOW MUCH FABRIC DOES THE CLOTHING USE?

HOW MUCH FABRIC DOES THE CLOTHING USE?

It is important to know how much fabric is needed to make your garments. Especially if you are mass producing the garments. Knowing how much fabric each garment uses, you can calculate how much fabric you need to order in total and how much it will cost. However, some garment manufacturers require you to order a minimum quantity of fabric, which may mean buying 1 roll or a few hundred yards. It is always better to ask about the MOQ of the fabric supplier when making inquiries about fabrics.

There are several factors that can change the consumption of clothing:

Grain line: All pattern pieces must follow the grain line marked on the pattern, so it is impossible to put the pattern pieces on the fabric just because it fits.
Bevel Cut – According to a garment manufacturer, some garments require pattern pieces to be cut at an angle, which means a lot more fabric is used. Therefore, it is important to make an installation plan so that you can check how much more fabric you will need.

ROUGH FABRIC CONSUMPTIONS:
